How Jersey Jibs Began

Jersey Jibs was founded in early 1996 by Jim Mundell during a successful nine year career as an ENG DP and Jimmy Jib operator, shooting for sports and broadcast multi-camera setups. Jim has shot and lit everything from network news magazine shows, corporate and various broadcast and film productions. Already a skilled camera operator in hard and handheld positions, Jim was drawn by the creative possibilities into doing more jib and crane jobs as a jib operator. Jersey Jibs has been a part of many award-winning shows and Jim Mundell has personally won an Emmy for his photography work.

The love of camera motion inspired the formation of Jersey Jibs and continues to fuel us to push the limits and get the most creative shots possible.
