The Jimmy
Jib camera crane system can be built to different lengths by the number
of sections that are configured together. The Crane rates are based
on those lengths and offer savings for those shots not requiring the
longer length cranes. The chart below will show you what lengths are
offered and the specs of those options.
Remote Head
Fully remote electronic camera head controls both pan & tilt (900 degrees
of pan). It can be controlled with joystick, crank wheels, or desktop
joystick, and will soon be available as a stand alone item. (See
Remote Head page.)

Technicians
A Jersey Jibs supplied, experienced technician is a highly recommended
necessity. Yes, they are an additional expense, but they cut down build/teardown
times, aid in crane relocation (which saves time and money in the long
run), are a second set of eyes for the operator, add safety and free
up that promised to me/already spoken for grip. A tech will be REQUIRED
for all film jobs, multi-location shoots, any job with safety concerns,
and when using the Dutch Head.
Dutch Tilt Head
3rd axis dutch tilt head rolls camera on each side 60 degrees from vertical.
Witness Station
Dual monitors for camera assistant—one for picture from video tap
and the other from witness camera to read lens settings.
